Sophia Center Astrology Classes

Seven classes: Mondays, April 4 through May 16, 2005
7:00 to 9:00 PM Monday evenings

This course is designed to give you a solid foundation for understanding the basics of astrology. You will be able to listen to a lecture or read an article on astrology and know what in heavens they're talking about. You will learn why sun signs are only a tiny part of what your chart can tell you. You will learn how to make charts and how to read them, and you will begin to analyze your own chart.

If you've been to a class or workshop and felt you were way behind or maybe you just couldn't figure out where that lecturer is coming from, this may be the class for you.

Or maybe you're just curious. That's OK too. Whatever your reasons, come and have fun and fine a whole new point of view on life!

CLASS OUTLINE

1. The chart and how it’s built – elements, qualities, houses, signs, planets and more
2. The Ascendant and the first 3 houses – their natural placements and their planets. “ME”
3. The IC and the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th houses, placements and planets. “ME AND MINE”
4. The 8th, 9th and 10th houses, the MC placements and planets, “ME WITH OTHERS”
5. The 11th and 12th houses, placements and planets. “THE TRANSPERSONAL”; plotting a chart with all of its components
6. Assimilating all this into understanding your own chart
7. Synthesis and review of all that you have learned

In each lesson we will discuss parts of your own chart and famous people’s charts.
