Come explore the magic and beauty of ancient and modern Greece.

This is called the “dream” trip because we plan to visit some of Greece’s ancient dream centers of healing and explore dreams in the ancient world, the modern world and in our individual lives.

Group discussions will center around the theme of the ancient Asklepions, those places where dream healing took place. Along with ancient technique and theory, we will apply some modern ideas and practices, in particular archetypal and astrological dream theory as applied to dreams.

Discussions will be led by SOPHIA CENTER members Arielle Guttman, author, astrologer and mythologist and Leslie Nathanson, LPCC, psychologist, group leader and university instructor. Joining us at selected sites on the tour will be some notable Greek scholars, archaeologists and therapists who will share their knowledge of Greece, both ancient and modern.
