Chiron, the "Wounded Healer" archetype

Asklepius, the Greek god of Healing through Dreams

Ophiuchus, the 13th sign constellation in the heavens

This visual presentation by Arielle will offer commentary and discussion about these planetary healing energies which are important emerging archetypes in the current time frame. The modern western lineage of healing, is in fact, tied to the ancient god Asklepius, who for nearly a millennium, inspired some of the healing modalities more recently and now re-emerging in our midst.

Arielle Guttman is an astrologer, lecturer, tour leader and author whose work has involved tying Greek myth, archetypes and astrology together. Arielle offers quarterly Star*Talks at BODY.

a new look at
MOTHER CHILD RELATIONSHIPS
The transits that last a lifetime

Presented by Leslie Nathanson, MA, LPCC
of the Sophia Center of Santa Fe

We think of transits as coming and going, lasting anywhere from the mood swings of a few hours as the moon passes overhead, to the several year periods when the outer planets such as Neptune or Pluto alter our deepest self. We experience them, hopefully learn from them, and then move on to the next life opportunity, the next set of archetypal patterns to explore and embrace.

When a child is born, however, the transits for the moment become “fixed” and the archetypal patterns displayed in the heavens become the new person’s birth chart or psychic map and guide for life. And for the child’s mother, what would normally be a brief period of temporal activation and interaction to her natal chart lasts, to borrow the words of the traditional marriage ceremony, “as long as ye both shall live.”

Whether you are a mother wanting to more deeply understand your relationship to your child(ren), or you are a “child” wanting to explore what the archetypal soul implications are in your relationship to your own mother, or whether you are a counselor or guide to others, this workshop will allow you to penetrate more deeply into understanding this most primal of all relationships as we compare the charts of mother and child and see what the archetypes reveal.
