STAR*TALK Excerpts: March 6, 2006

ARIELLE: March is an action packed month. Today Mercury goes Rx in Pisces. Those with Gemini or Virgo rising, and or all mutable angles are impacted. This current Rx of Mercury will be characterized by three exact squares to Pluto, which speaks about the deep need to dig for truth. Pisces squares Pluto in Sag, which is the quest for truth. Mercury is our ability to see. The Sun is in Pisces asking “Do you want to believe reality or illusion?” Truth is out there in front of our faces. For the U.S.A. this is a period when many facts will be put out there blatantly and boldly.

STEVEN:Steven: On TV the Zacharias Mussawi trial starts tomorrow. The whole 9/11 drama will be in our face again, with many of the family members drawn in on TV, again putting the truth in our face.

ARIELLE: There are 22 different U.S. charts in Campion’s World Charts based on various key points, dates and times in the founding of this nation. Since 9/11 most people agree on the Sibley chart. In that chart Neptune, ruling reality or illusion, is at the MH of the US chart, which makes one wonder how much truth there has ever been. There is always some illusion – telling people what they want to know, not the truth. Also, Mercury Rx in opposition to Pluto in the US birthchart is similar to Mercury Rx square Pluto right now. Mercury the gatherer of information is digging deep to find the truth. The opposition makes a strong statement about the media (mercurial energy). Their job is to cover news, but lately they seem to only cover what they are told…with spin. This month there could be lots of spin because shit will happen, creating more need to spin reality.

The recent big change is the fixed cross is still prominent but Mars, which was in Taurus for six months has now moved into Gemini. Now we have a lot of planets in mutable signs (dispersal of energy, like clouds). Mutable is like hearing ten things at once and not registering any of it. Characteristic of mutable is going out in all directions. There are squares, conjunctions and oppositions in mutable signs this month. Meditation, focus and centering would be great antidotes if one could! We are also in the change of seasons right now and allergy season. With Mars in Gemini Santa Fe will see lots of wind, Mars in an air sign squaring planets. The peak of the Mercury Rx cycle is the conjunction to the Sun, which will be centered exactly over Crawford, Texas!!

Steven: At the eclipse this month Uranus in Pisces is at 12 degrees squaring the U.S. Ascendant/Descendant…Impulses stirring us out of our cocoons. Uranus the great awakener waking people up.

ARIELLE: The Los Alamos and Santa Fe geodetic MH/DSC is the same as the US natal Asc/Dsc. so when Uranus squares the US axis it also squares Santa Fe’s axis. Because Uranus is close to the angular position all this now, Santa Fe will be in the news. Perhaps our governor will be making more trips to DC and around the world. He is a leading contender for 2008.

Steven: Suddenly it has become profitable again to mine uranium and some fast deals are being made. Minerals are there to anchor an “earth Trust”. They are Mother Earth’s aura. This aura has been disturbed. The Four Corners are the heart of the Earth Mother, sacred to the Southwest.

ARIELLE: The geodetic angles for Los Alamos being the same as the Great Pyramid and Sphinx indicates a sacred alignment and vortex. The ancient ancestors have called certain people to be here. Very few lands in the U.S. incorporate the wisdom of the ancients. Native peoples have been dancing in these lands for centuries. The heartbeat of the land here is resonating out to invisible beings.

STEVEN: Pluto in Sagittarius is at the degree of the galactic heart center. In this center is a mammoth black hole, like an enormous slinky, pulling and sending out. Renewal, death, rebirth. Everything is in motion, in spirals—the Sun, the planets, DNA, fingertips whorls, etc… all spiraling. Forget about beliefs and stick with the fundamentals, like the Golden Rule, those that really work.

Mercury at 27 Pisces will station in square to Pluto when it moves deeper at the Galactic Heart Center. There will be more death of beliefs, death of beliefs in government. Pluto stations at the end of the month. Check which house this happens in for you and clarify your intentions in that area. Strengthen your will through mantra or prayer, give intention form, bring it to life. Be clear and steer the energy. Personal is planetary.

ARIELLE: The New Moon in Pisces this week was an excellent time to see the movie ONE which was just recently playing here. The film -- a documentary – featured interviews of several religious teachers and masters about the meaning of life. What was stated is that what Jihad really means is the battle of all battles, the ultimate battle with one’s own impure nature. The last days of Pluto in Sag (the entire span was ’95-’96-2008), this last frame will bring the world into the question of who has the corner on truth. This is also the best decanate of Sagittarius, in Leo, the higher (one hopes) more enlightened side. Fundamentalists of all religions believe they are being called on to fight this big enemy but they do not realize it is the shadow of oneself and the shadow itself. Many of us are searching within. And the very present and pressing issue with the squares of Pisces versus Sagittarius right now is the need to question what we’ve been told and deal with how we’ve been lied to.

Of course, with all this Pisces-Virgo energy, one might want to watch and be alert while driving now—no Mercury retrograde telephone calls at the wheel or spacing out to beautiful music! Mars in Gemini this cycle is making hard right-angle squares to the lunar eclipse in Virgo, to Uranus in Pisces and an opposition to Pluto in Sagittarius. That’s a heavy-hitting energy, so…Watch actions and reactions! The coming full moon eclipse in Virgo has to do with the service industry- jobs, the labor force, the military force (Virgo rules the armed services). Mercury goes over the same point three times. We need to get the point. There may be some questioning or rebellion within military circles. An eclipse is 100 times more powerful than a Full Moon. This one will be at 4:47 pm (Mountain Time) on March 13, and it will take a few hours so we may be able to see the tail end of it in the sky. Watch for it just after sunset. The eclipse can bring to light what was previously hidden, such as a crisis about the path of service in life, where or how do I serve most effectively, health, healing, or cleansing the organs.
